Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will make every effort to organize and conduct the upcoming 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference at the highest level. The President of Uzbekistan stated this.

At the UNESCO General Assembly in Paris, the holding of the next, 43rd session in Samarkand in 2025 was officially confirmed.

“On behalf of the multinational people of Uzbekistan and on my own behalf, I would like to sincerely thank all our foreign friends and partners for supporting the historic decision to hold the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in ancient Samarkand in 2025,” the President noted.

“I am confident that this important global event, which will be held for the first time in our region, will once again demonstrate to the world community the enormous civilizational potential of Uzbekistan and the states of Central Asia,” he added.

“In turn, Uzbekistan will make every effort to organize and conduct the upcoming session at the highest level,” said the head of Uzbekistan.
