Special photo-video recording equipment to be installed near schools

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Special photo-video recording equipment will be installed near schools located along the roads.

By the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan from 20 November 2023, changes and additions were made to a number of regulations aimed at strengthening road safety and stimulating medical workers.

According to the amendments made to the Resolution “On measures to reliably ensure human safety and a sharp reduction in fatalities on highways,” near schools located along roads, at pedestrian crossings of roads with at least four lanes and in hotbeds of traffic accidents, special means of photo-video recording of offenses will be installed.

These means will be used to identify and record offenses such as speeding, ignoring pedestrians and illegally crossing roads.
