Ambassador of Uzbekistan completes his mission in Spain
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Ambassador of Uzbekistan Jahongir Ganiev completes his diplomatic mission in Spain. This was reported by Dunyo news agency.
In connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission, he met with the Secretary of State for Foreign and Global Affairs of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Angeles Moreno Bau.
The parties noted that in recent years, bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Spain has reached a new multifaceted level and has been very productive.
The Secretary of State of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to Jahongir Ganiev for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations and giving them sustainable dynamics.
The parties expressed confidence in the further successful development of bilateral relations and the implementation of previously reached agreements.
Jahongir Ganiev has been working at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Madrid since 2017: first as Charge d’Affaires, in 2018 he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). In 2020, he also became the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Vatican and a part-time representative to the International Olive Council.
From 2007 to 2012, Ganiev was Ambassador to Italy and at the same time Permanent Representative to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Program (WFP).
