Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An opening ceremony of the renovated Uzbekistan pavilion at VDNKh in Moscow took place.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted that the Uzbekistan Pavilion is one of the most beautiful pavilions and the most difficult in terms of restoration and restoration.

He thanked the President and citizens of Uzbekistan, who put their souls into this object and approached with full responsibility and care the restoration of a unique cultural object.

The pavilion is filled with the history and culture of Uzbekistan, said Sergei Sobyanin.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov noted that Uzbekistan managed to create a truly authentic corner of its country. “Unique objects of cultural heritage, modern art and crafts are collected here. And all this conveys the unique atmosphere of Uzbekistan, allowing us to better understand our friends and neighbors,” Manturov noted.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev said that within the walls of pavilion No. 66, Moscow residents and guests of the capital from all over the world had the opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of the sectors of the national economy and industry of Uzbekistan, as well as immerse themselves in the atmosphere of its national culture and identity.

The Exhibition, Cultural and Exposition Center of Uzbekistan is located in pavilion No. 66 “Soviet Culture”. The customer for the restoration of the pavilion was the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The renovated pavilion has five exhibition halls: “Central”, which houses the exhibition “Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan - the Heritage of All Mankind”; "Applied Arts"; “Hall of Paintings of the 19th-20th Centuries”; “Tourist potential of Uzbekistan”; “New Uzbekistan” is a hall for holding conferences and other events.
