President of Uzbekistan receives the ex-Prime Minister of Qatar, the founder of a large investment holding

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 October 2023, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the former Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, founder of a number of large investment and industrial holdings in the country, Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, at his residence in Doha.

Issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial business cooperation at the level of leading companies and enterprises of Uzbekistan and Qatar were considered.

The sides considered the implementation of promising projects in the fields of energy, industry, infrastructure, tourism, and the banking and financial sector.

The head of our state noted the importance of accelerating the practical implementation of joint projects by forming an expert group and adopting a road map.
