Archaeological exhibition “Cooperation within the Belt and Road” opens in Beijing
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 September 2023, the archaeological exhibition “Cooperation within the Belt and Road in the field of cultural heritage and archeology” opens at the Gugun Imperial Palace Museum in Beijing.
Visitors will be able to see more than 80 museum exhibits from the People’s Republic of China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.
The exhibition is divided into several sections, reflecting different periods of development of culture and art among the peoples living along the Great Silk Road.
Uzbekistan will present eighteen exhibits from the collection of the State Museum of History and the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. The event is the most important event for all countries participating in the Forum and is aimed at strengthening and expanding cultural cooperation between them.
Exhibits from Uzbekistan are presented with the support of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition will be open from 29 September 2023 to 5 January 2024 and takes place within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” forum. An archaeological exhibition “Cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road in the field of cultural heritage and archeology” will be organized.
