Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The management of Uzbekenergotamir signed a contract for US$60 million with the American corporation General Electric Global Parts and Products.
This cooperation is aimed at modernizing the existing power units of the country’s power plants. This means that another important step has been taken to ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to the population and important sectors of the economy, reported Thermal Power Plants JSC.
As part of the contract, in addition to the maintenance of power plants, new spare parts will be supplied and work will be carried out to restore dismantled spare parts.
“Thus, we are introducing modern, highly developed and energy-efficient equipment into the country’s electricity industry, introducing the most advanced technologies in the industry, which ultimately leads to a reduction in the final cost of products by reducing fuel consumption and digitalization of production,” says the CEO Uzbekenergotamir Ilkhom Radjabov.
Another important point related to the completion of the negotiations is that now young employees of Uzbekenergotamir will improve their skills through repair and adjustment work with the participation of American specialists. This is another opportunity for our youth to develop their knowledge and experience in operating and operating internationally recognized electrical devices.
