Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan produced 52.2 billion kWh of electricity in January-August 2023, which is 5.8% more than the same period in 2022. This was stated by the Inspectorate for Control over the Use of Electricity, Oil Products and Gas under the Ministry of Energy.
The inspectorate noted that over 13.06 kWh of electricity was supplied to the population during the reporting period. The growth was 18.4%. compared to the same period in 2022
It should be noted that in January-August 2022, 49.3 billion kWh of electricity was produced in Uzbekistan. The volume of supplied electricity to the population for 8 months of 2022 amounted to 11.04 billion kWh of electricity.
