How many foreign citizens entered Uzbekistan for commercial purposes?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the State Agency, in January-August 2023, 36,800 foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan for commercial purposes.

Most foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan from:

Turkmenistan – 21,400 people;

Tajikistan – 9,300 people;

Afghanistan – 1,100 people;

China – 700 people;

India – 600 people;

Turkey – 600 people;

Kyrgyzstan – 500 people;

South Korea – 500 people;

USA – 0.3 thousand people;

Iran - 0.2 thousand people.
