The star of the film “Taxi” to take part in the XV Tashkent International Film Festival

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Frederic Diefenthal, known for his role as Emilien in the film “Taxi”, will take part in the XV Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road”. He may become the host of the opening ceremony.

The XV Tashkent International Film Festival will be held from 29 September to 2 October this year.

Within its framework, there will be a Film Festival of the European Union countries, as well as a film forum of Turkic countries and CIS countries.

In addition, the film festival program included such events as “Uzbek dubbing is 85 years old”, the “Cinema in 5 days” competition, national events dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Uzbek cinema, an exhibition of costumes from Italian films, days of foreign cinema, training seminars, master classes, creative meetings with famous filmmakers, retrospective film screenings.
