Director Emir Kusturica to visit the Tashkent International Film Festival

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The world-famous Serbian director and actor, winner of the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, Emir Kusturica will take part in the XV Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road". This was reported on the official website of the film festival.

Emir Kusturica is expected to walk the red carpet and give a concert at the closing ceremony of the Tashkent International Film Festival.

Perhaps this particular performance will be the last in Kusturica’s musical career for the near future, since Emir plans to take a break to start working on a new film.
