Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan sign a number of important documents at a business forum in Italy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the Uzbek-Italian business forum held in Rome on 6 June, the potential of the agricultural and food sectors of Uzbekistan was widely presented.

As part of the event, a number of documents were signed aimed at implementing joint projects with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the agro-food sector.

Thus, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the ministry and the Nardi Group, within the framework of which cooperation is planned to combat desertification. The document provides for the organization of a pilot project in Akhangaran district of Tashkent region.

An agreement was also reached with the Italian consortium of manufacturers of technologies and products for agriculture "CERMAC". As part of the agreement, it is planned to organize training in Italian technologies and technicians at AKIS centers, as well as training Uzbek operators at Italian enterprises.

In addition, the ministry also began cooperation with the leading manufacturer of small biofuel stations and livestock equipment in Europe, Rota Guido, aimed at introducing Italian technologies in Uzbekistan through lending through the Italian credit agency Exetra and providing agricultural technologies through the Agricultural Services Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture. .

Another project will be implemented with SINT Tecnologie. Within its framework, it is planned to introduce Italian technologies for the creation of modular mobile lines for the processing of agro-food products through lending through Exetra, as well as the provision of technologies through the Agricultural Services Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture.

It is expected that the signed documents will further expand the introduction of the latest technologies in the republic and will increase the productivity and environmental development of agriculture for many years to come.
