Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Due to the beginning of the summer season, the air temperature in the city of Tashkent rises sharply, and as a result, the temperature on the subway rails and copper parts can be high, up to +70 degrees. This was reported by the press service of the metro.

In accordance with the rules for using the subway during this period, when the temperature on the rails exceeds +55 degrees, the speed of trains decreases, and when the temperature on the rails reaches +60 degrees, the speed of trains is limited to 40 km/h, and when the temperature on the rails is + 65 degrees, the speed of trains should not exceed 25 km/h. When the temperature on the rails is +70 degrees or higher, train traffic is limited.

To ensure the safety of the movement of trains and passengers during the period of rising air temperature, temporary restrictions on the speed of trains will be set at the Yer usti halqa yo’li subway and at Sergeli sections.
