Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 31 May, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Sarvar Khamidov held talks with Ariel Porat, President for the European Region of Siemens Energy.
During the meeting, issues of expanding bilateral cooperation were discussed. In particular, they discussed the practical implementation of joint projects worth 3.4 billion euros, including the construction of a combined cycle plant in the Surkhandarya region, as well as photovoltaic and thermal power plants based on Navoiazot JSC.
In addition, the meeting outlined the prospects for cooperation in the development of digitalization, metallurgy, electrical engineering, hydrogen energy, and the oil and gas industry.
An agreement was reached on the approval, following the results of negotiations, of a joint Roadmap with the inclusion of specific investment projects, step-by-step mechanisms and exact deadlines for implementation.
