The Ministry of Transport reminds pensioners that for free travel in the metro they will need to present a pension certificate

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan from 15 March 2023 “On the creation of additional amenities for pensioners when using the Tashkent metro”, starting from 1 April 2023, the Tashkent metro provides free travel for pensioners. This was reported by the information service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

To do this, passengers receiving a pension, when using the services of the metro, must present a pension certificate to the employee of the metro.
