The allowance for children with disabilities is assigned regardless of the appeal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the "Regulations on the procedure for assigning and paying benefits to certain categories of persons in need of social protection."

The regulation establishes the procedure for assigning benefits to the following categories of persons in need of social protection:

children under 18 with disabilities;

- a legal representative caring for a child with a disability under the age of 18 who needs outside care;

- persons with disabilities of groups I and II who do not have the necessary work experience for the appointment of a state pension;

- disabled family members who were dependents of the deceased person, who are not entitled to receive a state pension;

- elderly people who do not have the necessary length of service for the appointment of a state pension, as well as mothers who have (had) a child with a disability since childhood.

Accordingly, the following benefits are assigned:

- Disability allowance for children under 18 with disabilities;

- care allowance;

- disability allowance;

- Survivor’s benefit;

- age allowance.

The disability allowance for children under 18 years of age, as well as the care allowance, are assigned by the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction in a "proactive" form.

To assign benefits for disability, survivors and old age, you must contact the public service centers or my.gov.uz.

My.gov.uz within 5 minutes after receiving the information:

- Provides the applicant with information on when and where to receive the allowance, if awarded.

Benefits are paid at the discretion of the recipient through a bank branch by transferring funds to the deposit accounts of citizens or an organization that is entrusted with the authority to issue (transfer) a pension.

Benefits are paid on a monthly basis on a fixed date, but no later than the current month of payment.

When the recipient of the allowance moves to another district (city) for a permanent place of residence on the territory of Uzbekistan, payment of the allowance continues at the new place of residence. In this case, the payment of benefits continues from the moment of termination of the payment of benefits at the previous place of residence.
