Uzbek-Korean forum of rectors to be held in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Kim Hee Sang. During the meeting, prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation were discussed.

The parties noted the dynamic development in recent years of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea in all areas, including higher and vocational education. At the same time, the effective establishment of cooperation relations was noted.

During the conversation, an agreement was reached to further increase the exchange of students and teachers between higher educational institutions, as well as to bring cooperation between our countries in the field of vocational education and training to a new level.

Also during the conversation, organizational issues of the Uzbek-Korean forum of rectors scheduled for the end of March, vocational training of youth, training of Uzbek students in Korean universities, as well as a number of issues related to the activities of branches of Korean universities in Uzbekistan were considered.
