The prospects for establishing sister city relations between Lodz region and Ferghana region were considered

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 December 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov, who is in Poland on a visit, held a meeting with the Mayor of Lodz, Hanna Zdanowska.

Issues of further expansion of partnership with Lodz region in the trade and economic sphere and in the field of attracting investments and the latest technologies to the Uzbek market were discussed.

The prospects for establishing sister city relations between Lodz region and Ferghana region of Uzbekistan were considered.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint investment projects in the clothing and textile industry and a significant increase in its volume and the supply of export products to Poland.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to further expand cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
