Ombudsman shared information about the activity of the Human Rights Commissioner of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and cooperation with UNDP Uzbekistan.

Anita Nirodi underlined efforts of Ombudsman in promotion of human rights and praised joint events with WHO Office in protection of patients’ rights.

UNDP official also informed Ombudsman about country cooperation programme for 2010-2015 and experience of the organizations in supporting Ombudsman.

During the meeting, the sides proposed to deepen bilateral contacts and preparation of joint events’ plan in promoting of human rights and supporting activity of the Ombudsman, developing international contacts in human rights’ sphere.
