Government bodies in Uzbekistan to be provided with satellite images

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The resolution of the President "On additional measures for the further development of the space industry"  was adopted.

According to the document, activities will be established to carry out space monitoring and provide government agencies with space images, as well as the effective use of the results of space activities using space technologies in the socio-economic sphere, in the fields of science, defense and security.

Until 1 February 2023, the data of state cadastres related to the areas of state space monitoring will be integrated with each other through the interdepartmental data transfer network "Electronic Government".

According to the resolution, a procedure for registering satellite mobile devices and terminals used on the territory of Uzbekistan, imported and produced for sale or personal use will also be developed.
