The head of our state sincerely congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the successful holding of the nationwide elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the convincing victory won.

Topical issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Kazakh relations of good neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance were considered.

Particular attention was paid to the preparation of the upcoming high-level meetings.

The importance of building up practical cooperation in priority areas such as trade, industry, energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, and other sectors of the economy was emphasized.

There was also an exchange of views on issues of regional cooperation.
