Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Graduation Ceremony of the 13th Business Courses took place at the International Business Center in Tashkent, which was organized by the Uzbekistan-Japan Center for Human Development.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Tsutomu Hiraoka and head of Asian-Pacific region of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade Mr. Shakhrukh Sulaymanov participated at the event.

Tsutomu Hiraoka underlined graduates of the Business Courses will play key role in economic growth and well-being of Uzbekistan, as well as development of relations between Uzbekistan and Japan.

Uzbek envoy said Japanese firms actively realize several investment projects, including bus production, telecommunication projects, geological prospecting and others. He said that several Japanese official visited Uzbekistan as well.

Hiraoka expressed hope that the Japan-Uzbekistan Investment Agreement, which entered into force in September 2009, will contribute to favourable conditions for investment activity between two states.
