Margilan receives the status of "The World City of Silk and Ikat Artisans"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the opening ceremony of the 5th Atlas Bayrami International Festival of Traditional Textiles, President of the World Council of Craftsmen Saad al-Kaddumi presented a certificate on the inclusion of Margilan in the World Crafts Council network to the Khokim of the city of Margilan Adkham Ziyavuddinov.

The 5th Atlas Bayram International Festival of Traditional Textiles will run until 22 October.
