Namangan to host International Honey Festival for the first time

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 28 to 30 October, the first Namangan International Honey Festival will be held in the Afsonalar vodiysi park in the city of Namangan. The festival will be organized by the Main Department of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Namangan region.

During the festival, more than 250 domestic and foreign beekeepers will present their products. Also, the participants of the event will have the opportunity to learn all the information about honey products, beekeeping, honey collection and beekeeping, as well as make beeswax ointment, make crafts from beeswax, try several varieties of honey.

In addition, the program of the event will include a scientific and practical conference on the development of agricultural tourism in the republic, an exhibition of honey, sports competitions, a concert for guests, as well as master classes from leading domestic and foreign experts in the field of beekeeping.

Within the framework of the festival, a competition is also planned in such nominations as “The best packaged honey” and “The most natural honey”.
