Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By a resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nozimjon Kholmurodov was appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Prior to his appointment, Nozimjon Kholmurodov worked in various positions in the Antimonopoly Committee, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade and First Deputy Khokim of Bukhara region.
The area of responsibility of Nozimjon Kholmurodov in the new position includes issues of coordinating the activities of state bodies and organizations in the field of formation and monitoring of state investment programs, development of geology, mining, metallurgy, mechanical engineering and production of building materials, light and electrical industries, agro-industrial complex and agriculture economy, the social sector and the pharmaceutical industry and other industries, improving the investment and economic potential of the banking and financial sector, regional development and exports, as well as the implementation of other functions and tasks assigned by the decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers, legislative acts.
