Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan said that information about the disappearance of some citizens who participated in demonstrations in Karakalpakstan is completely unfounded.

Earlier, the Open Dialogue Foundation published a list of 58 names of missing citizens.

Khayot Shamsutdinov, spokesman for the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan, noted that information about the disappearance of some citizens who took part in the demonstrations on 1-2 July in Karakalpakstan is a fake.
