Social services in mahallas to be provided on the basis of an integrated approach

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential resolution "On measures to raise the system of providing social services and providing assistance to families in need of social protection, as well as further accelerating the work of training women in professions in mahallas" was adopted.
According to the adopted resolution, from 1 July 2022, the System for organizing social services in mahallas will be gradually introduced on the basis of an integrated approach.
The resolution established the Republican Headquarters to coordinate the implementation of social services in mahallas based on an integrated approach system.
Until 1 November 2022:
Every two weeks women’s mahalla activists enter the following information into the regional headquarters:
about the need for social services based on the state of households, the real situation in families;
on the provision of specific social services to families;
about recommendations and applications for the needs of families in difficult
and high-tech operations, persons with disabilities - in prosthetic and orthopedic products and other similar social services;
Regional headquarters summarize this information in the context of their territories and send them to the Coordination Headquarters within two days;
Coordinating headquarters based on the information received
within three days organizes the provision of targeted social services by a responsible employee - a member of the Regional Headquarters to families who really need a social service.
Also, in 2022-2023, vocational training and employment for a total of 827,780 women are provided for in the republic (of which 383,565 are women this year).
From 1 August 2022, in the mahallas of Surkhandarya region (from 1 November 2022 - in all other mahallas of the republic), a system for the provision of social services through the module "Social service in the mahalla" will be introduced.
About 70 percent of the costs associated with the vocational training of women who are not able to compete in the labor market on equal terms is covered by the state, but not more than four times the amount of the basic estimated value for each graduate.
