Prospects for attracting investments in the field of air transportation in Uzbekistan discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 June this year, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with a well-known Turkish expert in the field of civil aviation, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Airlines, Ilker Ayci. From the Uzbek side, the leadership of the Ministry of Transport also took part in the meeting.

During the talks, the prospects for establishing cooperation in the civil aviation sector of Uzbekistan were discussed, including increasing the competitiveness of Uzbek air carriers and attracting private investors to implement projects in this area.

The Turkish side expressed readiness to assist in the introduction of advanced Turkish experience in the field of air transportation and increase the investment attractiveness of this area.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in practical cooperation within the discussed areas of interaction.
