Uzbekistan-based company to supply headlights to French carmaker

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Namangan-based headlight manufacturer UzChasys, a structural division of Uzavtosanoat JSC, has begun supplying headlights for Peugeot Partner cars to Stellantis (France). Thus, the company has expanded the geography of deliveries of its products now to France. The first batch of headlights has already been shipped to France on 23 June.
It should be noted that in 2021, almost a third of the company’s total revenue came from exports, which amounted to about US$8.5 million.
UzChasys is the largest manufacturer of car headlights in Central Asia, supplying products to the conveyors of "Uzauto Motors" (Uzbekistan), "Renault-Avtovaz" (Russia) and "PCMA Rus" (Russia). The company manufactures headlights for Chevrolet, Lada, Niva and Peugeot brands.
The company was founded in 2009 in Namangan region. The current staff consists of 638 people.
Stellantis is a global holding company created in 2021 by merging Fiat Chrysler Automobiles PSA Group. Owns the brands Fiat, Chrysler, Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, Jeep, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, etc.
