Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – In a number of regions of Russia, as well as in the cities of Shymkent (Kazakhstan) and Istanbul (Turkey), new representative offices of Agency for External Labor Migration began their work, the Agency for External Labor Migration said.
It is reported that over the past five months, 6,009 citizens were sent to work in the Russian Federation, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Germany and Japan.
During the reporting period, the Agency provided services to more than 76 thousand citizens. Of these, 67,148 citizens were provided with consulting services, 3,657 - legal assistance, 4,631 - social assistance, 1,412 - material assistance, including 710 people received one-time financial assistance in the amount of two sizes of basic estimated value for a total of US$33,370.
In addition, 55 people were placed in temporary hostels, and 338 citizens who found themselves in a difficult situation were returned to Uzbekistan.
