Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Resolution of the President “On additional measures for the development of public education” was adopted.
According to the Resolution, from 1 September 2022, a rating of exemplary schools will be formed and published in the context of all districts (cities) of the republic.
As part of the rating, at the end of each academic year, an assessment is made of the state of spiritual and educational work in schools.
Schools will be classified into green, yellow, and red categories based on rankings.
Based on the rating indicators, the necessary measures will be taken to improve the efficiency of spiritual and educational work in schools classified as "red" category.
According to the Resolution, the practice of encouraging parents of exemplary students every quarter will be introduced.
From 1 September 2022, it will be possible to familiarize parents of school students with the internal regulations and ethics of conduct in a general secondary education institution through the information system "my.maktab.uz".
According to the Resolution, to finance the Program for Upgrading Obsolete Computer Classes in Schools for 2023-2024, funds will be allocated from the republican budget in the amount of 200 billion soums, from local budgets - 200 billion soums.
From the 2022/2023 academic year, schools with up to 400 students will be provided with an Internet speed of at least 40 Mbps, and schools with more than 400 students - at least 100 Mbps.
Until 1 September 2022, a special electronic portal will be created, allowing you to submit an online application for participation in the competition for the position of a subject teacher and school principal and post information about the candidate.
According to the Resolution, in 2022-2026, construction, reconstruction, and overhaul of a total of 2,899 schools (including 433 this year) will be carried out in the republic.
Until 1 August 2022, standard projects for workshops on the subject of "technology" and professional practice rooms will be developed.
From 1 January 2023:
organizations of general secondary education must pass attestation and state accreditation at least once every 11 years. At the same time, organizations of general secondary education have the right to pass certification and state accreditation ahead of schedule on a contractual basis;
organizations of general secondary education undergo attestation and state accreditation in the following order:
operating organizations of general secondary education - for a period of 11 years after the expiration of their accreditation certificate;
newly created organizations of general secondary education - for a period of 11 years from the moment of their establishment (from the moment of obtaining a license in the prescribed manner);
monitoring of the quality of education based on risk analysis is being introduced in state organizations of general secondary education;
in state and non-state organizations of general secondary education, showing continuously for three years a high level of performance, a moratorium is introduced on the organization of inspections for a period of 3 years (with the exception of potential corruption cases).
Until 1 January 2025, the social tax rate on wages and equivalent payments made at the expense of non-budgetary funds of institutions and organizations in the public education system is set at 1 percent.
