A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the agencies "Azercosmos" and "Uzbekcosmos"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of the international conference Space Technology Conference STC-2022, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Azerbaijani space agency Azercosmos.

The cooperation of the parties envisages: 

• Implementation of projects related to space technologies and space monitoring;

• Organization of training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for the further development of space activities in the country;

• Exchange of experience in the implementation and regulation of space monitoring;

• Send employees of the Agency "Uzbekcosmos" to the GIS center of "Azercosmos" for advanced training in the GIS direction.

At the same time, the parties agreed to develop proposals for thorough preparation for the meeting of the intergovernmental commission of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, scheduled for September, in order to bring cooperation to the intergovernmental level.
