Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 April, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Saidkahkhor Kholkhodjaev met with Financial Director of the Asian Development Bank Priyanka Sood.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Mirzokhid Ubaydullaev, Executive Director of the State Entrepreneurship Support Fund Abboskhon Makhamatov and First Deputy Director of the Agency for the Work of Mahallabay and Entrepreneurship Development Mukhtor Shonazarov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the stabilization of economic growth due to the Fund's loan guarantees, further improvement of its activities, development of small business, women's entrepreneurship and retail trade.

The parties also exchanged views on the guarantee and compensatory financial assistance of the Fund in order to support entrepreneurship, further development of the service and tourism sectors.

In addition, they discussed further reform of the Agency and the Fund, the implementation of government strategies and projects, as well as improving the use of digital technologies in the activities of the Agency on the basis of technical assistance from the Asian Development Bank.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to coordinate cooperation on the above issues by organizing presentations by Asian Development Bank experts on international experience and creating a working group consisting of representatives of agencies and funds.
