A meeting takes place with the management of Yandex Taxi for the CIS countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At a meeting held on 14 April under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the results achieved in the field of information technology and tasks for 2022, the country’s leader gave instructions on the development of the ICT sector.

In order to fulfill these instructions today, on 19 April, Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with Kirill Svintsov, Managing Director of Yandex Taxi for the CIS countries.

A number of issues were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the Minister of ICT put forward a proposal for the company to obtain the status of an IT Park resident.

It was also noted that the company is now increasingly active in the market of Uzbekistan, creating convenience for citizens.

At the same time, the fact of expanding the company’s activities in Uzbekistan, its widespread introduction in regional centers was positively noted.

The parties noted their readiness to strengthen cooperation and implement joint projects.
