Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, together with the Uzbek-Chinese Trade Association, organized a round table, Dunyo news agency reported.

The event focused on work on new projects arising from the instructions of the heads of Uzbekistan and China to further expand bilateral industrial and trade and economic relations following the talks held on 5 February in Beijing, which brought cooperation between the two countries to a new level.

During the event, which was attended by leaders of large industrial enterprises such as "China CAMCE Engineering", "TBEA", "China Energy Intonational Construction", "China Civil Engineering Construction" and "China Huadian Corporation", views were exchanged on ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan and their results, the prospects for industrial and trade and economic ties between the two countries.

New projects were presented that can be jointly implemented in the pharmaceutical, textile, agricultural, chemical and leather industries of our country, and special business proposals from the Chinese side were received.

Within the framework of the round table, representatives of Chinese companies were given comprehensive answers to their questions, including about benefits for local and foreign entrepreneurs, conditions created in special industrial and economic zones.

At the end of the round table, large Chinese companies reported that the submitted investment projects would be considered as soon as possible and additional negotiations would be held with the Uzbek side.
