Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential resolution "On measures to radically improve the system of working with youth in mahallas" was adopted.
According to the resolution, the position of a youth leader is introduced in every town, village, aul, as well as in every mahalla of cities, towns, villages and auls.
The leader of the youth, in particular, forms the "Balance of Youth", enters the necessary information about youth into the electronic platforms "Yoshlar Daftari" and "Yoshlar Portal".
According to the resolution, in each mahalla the projects "One veteran - ten young wards" and "Meetings of three generations" will be implemented.
Quarterly, 100 most advanced leaders of the country who achieve high performance in the effective implementation of youth policy in the mahalla are awarded a one-time cash bonus in the amount equal to the monthly salary.
Leaders who effectively organize their activities, who, with their personal qualities, are an example for young people, lead them, are awarded with the badge “Yangi Uzbekiston islohchisi”.
From 1 March 2022, on the recommendation of the youth leader, certain types of assistance will be provided (13 units).
According to the resolution, the following will be created:
Sector for Youth Affairs in the structure of the apparatus of the Cabinet of Ministers;
Units for work with youth in mahallas and educational institutions in the structures of the Agency for Youth Affairs, its territorial departments and departments.
The Vice-Rector (Deputy Director) for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work in State Higher Educational Institutions and their branches will be given the status of First Vice-Rector (First Deputy Director).
Candidates for the position of the Leader are recruited on the basis of an open competition through the formation of selection commissions headed by khokims of districts (cities).
The size of the monthly wage of the Leader will be set in proportion to the number of houses (apartments) in the mahalla assigned to him, in particular:
in a mahalla with up to 500 houses (apartments) - 5 times the minimum wage;
in the mahalla with the number of houses (apartments) from 501 to 1,000 - 5.5 times the minimum wage;
in a mahalla with more than 1,000 houses (apartments) - 6 times the minimum wage.
The leader, who carries out his activities by moving from another region, is covered by the rent for housing up to twice the size of the BRF (up to 540,000 soums).
Also, Leaders who have achieved good results at the end of the year will be provided with a subsidy in the amount of 50% of the cost of housing purchased on the basis of a mortgage loan.
The military and special ranks are retained for persons hired in the position of Leader.
