Chevrolet Lacetti and Cobalt cars to be delivered without radios
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Due to interruptions in the supply of components from the Humax supplier, from 19 January, Chevrolet Lacetti and Cobalt cars under previously concluded agreements will be supplied to customers without car radios. This forced measure, with the consent of the buyer, will allow thousands of our consumers to receive cars in the very near future, UzAuto Motors said.
“Global demand for semiconductors has skyrocketed due to Covid 19, leading to the current shortage of integrated circuits. We are doing our best to meet the demand of UzAuto, but we cannot solve this global situation on our own. All Humax Automotive employees are involved in the daily work to improve this situation and create better awareness to minimize the damage caused by the IC shortage crisis. We are looking for solutions with all available means and resources,” says Humax Automotive.
Buyers of cars without a car radio will be offered two options for resolving the situation:
- Pick up the car without a radio in the near future with compensation from the manufacturer for its cost with installation. If the consumer intends to independently purchase another car radio, in order to maintain the warranty on the car, it is necessary to contact the official dealer centers of UzAuto Motors to install the device.
- Pick up the car without a car radio with subsequent free completion of the car upon receipt of the device from the manufacturer.
The company assures that it does and will do everything possible to minimize the inconvenience caused and find a compromise in any situation.
