The company said 530,000 cubic meters flow rate of gas and gas condensate was recorded at 10-mm bottom-hole choke of test well No 1 of the Ernazar prospect area as the result of drilling lime rocks at 3634 -3648 m depth.

“Well tests are now in progress. Current assumptions indicate that these results could herald the discovery of a new deposit”, the company said.

UzGasOil FSV is a geological survey operator in the Uzbekneftegaz national holding company and Zeromax agreement to commence geological survey operations for oil and gas explorations within the Eastern Kultak - Northern Nishan - Kamashi investment block of the Bukhara-Khiva oil-and-gas-bearing area of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In July 2008, UzGasOil FSV discovered the Nishan gas condensate field containing 6.9 billion cubic meters of proved natural gas reserves and 330,000 tonnes of proved condensate reserves.
