Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the Resolution of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 28 December 2021, Farhod Arziev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China.
Arziev has been in the diplomatic service since 2002. He has extensive experience in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign missions of Uzbekistan.
In 2014-2017, he worked as the Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Federal Republic of Germany.
In 2017-2020, he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of India and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (with residence in Delhi).
In 2020-2021, he served as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
He is fluent in Russian, English and German languages.
