Kyrgyz premier says talks under way to reduce Uzbek gas price
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are continuing talks on natural gas supplies, Kyrgyz Prime Minister Igor Chudinov said during a meeting with journalists in Bishkek, privately-owned Kyrgyz AKIpress news agency reported.
"These talks are not easy. We are trying to find arguments for reducing gas prices," the prime minister said. According to him, the Ministry of Industry and Energy and Kyrgyzgaz [Kyrgyz gas supply company] will make every effort to achieve the goals they are pursuing.
