Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A message from the press service of "Toshkent Shahar Suv Taminot" appeared on social networks and the media about the disconnection of drinking (cold) water in a number of districts of Tashkent due to power outages at the Kadyri hydroelectric complex, which provides drinking water most of the population of the capital.
The Ministry of Energy said that the Kadyri hydroelectric complex, which supplies drinking water to the population of the capital, is supplied with electricity through three separate power lines.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, today, on 3 December 2021, two of the three networks experienced a short-term outage (12 minutes). At the same time, the power supply of the water body "Kadyriya" was carried out through the third power line.
Thus, this situation of electricity could not cause interruptions in water supply to the population of Tashkent.
