Megafon is interested in organizing the work of the Situation Center
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Russian company Megafon is preparing to develop innovative services in Tashkent.
On 24 November 2021, employees of the Department of Digital Development, headed by the Deputy Khokim of Tashkent for the implementation of information technologies Sardor Abdullayev, met with the management of MegaFon PJSC.
The Russian side was represented by Ruslan Gaboev, Director for National Parameters, Olga Maslova, Director of Sales for Industry Solutions, Vasily Leshchenko, Director for Products and Industry Solutions, Kirill Egoshin, Director for Sales Support for Industry Solutions and other company executives.
The guests were interested in the issues of organizing the work of the Situation Center, the parameters of bringing together different databases, the possibility of integration with the rescue service (analogue of the 112 service) and the distribution of responsibilities of different departments in ensuring the safety of citizens and road traffic.
The parties discussed in detail the issues of traffic management, problems at controlled intersections and various options for their solution. The options for integrating data streams from video cameras in courtyard and adjoining territories, as well as regulations governing the protection of personal data in terms of using face recognition technology, were considered.
Separately, the issues of informatization of the housing and communal services complex were touched upon, including the possibility of switching to a single personal account, comparing the "transparency" of the activities of private homeowners’ associations and Management Companies, the distribution of powers of the khokimiyat and relevant ministries in the management of housing and communal services.
The guests were interested in the issues of integration into a unified system of informatization of databases in various aspects: ecology and green zones, energy consumption and cadastre services, video surveillance and fixing existing holes and hatches on the roads and other parameters of city life.
Guests received comprehensive answers to all their questions. To address situations in which the activities of the khokimiyat intersect with sectoral ministries, committees and departments, working groups will be created to jointly consider the possibilities of introducing information technologies in different areas.
