Participants will consider concept of cooperation of the CIS in energy sector and action plan on realization of the concept. The concept forms aims and tasks, principles and mechanisms, as well as priority direction of cooperation in the sector.

CIS representatives will also discuss main directions of long-term cooperation of the CIS in innovation sphere, which was developed by the State Science and technology Committee of Belarus in cooperation with Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee and the working group on development of draft of interstate programme on innovative cooperation within the CIS states till 2010.

Russia proposed to consider draft agreement on cooperation in organization of interstate exchange of information and formation of national databases of copyrights and allied rights. The document developed to form single approaches in the CIS on creation of national databases of copyrights and allied rights and coordinate efforts of the state in protection of intellectual property.

Council of the heads of the state bodies on regulation of securities market of the CIS offered to consider current state and trends of securities market development in the CIS. The document reviews the CIS securities market and gives recommendations on overcoming financial crisis.
