Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Wanted for involvement in the international terrorist organization S.S., born in 1995, was brought to Uzbekistan by employees of the State Security Service. This was reported by the press service of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan.
Through the Internet, he came under the influence of members of the international terrorist organization Katibatul Tavhid wal Jihad, operating in Syria.
S.S. together with his acquaintances created a virtual group in the Telegram messenger. In the group, they posted and discussed the sermons of the ideological leaders of extremist movements and international terrorist organizations calling for "jihad". They also intended to leave for Syria in order to join the terrorist organization Katibatul Tavhid wal Jihad.
As a result of the operational measures taken by the law enforcement agencies, their illegal actions were suppressed, and in June 2018, at a visiting court hearing in the criminal case initiated against S.S. and his criminal connections, following the principle of humanism, he was sentenced to 4 years of restriction of freedom.
However, S.S. without making the correct conclusions from his mistakes, in order to join the ranks of militants in Syria, he crossed the state border by bypass routes and left for one of the Central Asian states, where he was detained.
Currently, within the framework of the existing criminal case against him, an investigation is underway.
