Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 November 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yousef Saleh Algahrah Al-Otaibi. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the beginning of his activities in Uzbekistan and wished him success in his responsible post.

During the conversation, the sides expressed their mutual readiness to continue a regular dialogue and build up practical cooperation, including through political consultations between foreign ministries and meetings of the Intergovernmental Commissions on Trade, Economics, Science and Technology, Culture, Sports and Youth.

Special attention is paid to the issues of joint implementation of investment projects in the fields of energy, agriculture and tourism.

During the talks, other issues of mutual interest were also considered.
