Singapore’s ASIALINX GROUP studies Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
State Property Committee of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting of the First Deputy Chairman of the committee Aziz Abdukhakimov and head of ASIALINX GROUP (Singapore) Rayan Raman on 28 August, the Uzbek body said on 4 September. Representative of the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU) attended the meeting.
The committee said the meeting was directed at studying opportunities of ASIALINX GROUP’s participation in privatization processes.
Raman said that his two-day visit is directed at studying privatized objects and opportunities of investment into economy of Uzbekistan. Singaporean side expressed interest in sanatoriums.
State Property Committee of Uzbekistan said it provided information on sanatoriums, located in Tashkent region, where ASIALINX GROUP can realize its preliminary projects.
NBU representative informed the head of ASIALINX GROUP about the over 100 objects in the regions of Uzbekistan, where the bank plans to launch joint ventures. The Uzbek side said they will provide all necessary information about these objects.
ASIALINX GROUP head proposed to organize business forum of the Singaporean and Uzbek businesses in Tashkent, which was supported by the Uzbek committee.
State Property Committee of Uzbekistan said it offered intensive agenda for management of ASIALINX GROUP, which included visits to privatized objects in Tashkent and Syrdarya regions and negotiations with leadership of key sectors of economy.
