At the meeting, the actor shared his childhood story, moments of making films and his opinion on the future of cinema.
Jokingly, he even said: “Perhaps I have Uzbek blood, since I am very attracted to the history of Uzbekistan. That is why I decided to shoot a film in Uzbekistan”. It should be noted that Gerard Depardieu is the Ambassador of Culture of Uzbekistan.
The famous actor shared warm memories of his arrival in Uzbekistan and thanked for the invitation to the film festival.
“The efforts of the government of Uzbekistan in the development of national cinematography are very valuable. Much attention is paid to young people as the future of Uzbek cinema,” Depardieu added.
