Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A multifaceted model of state development is being formed in Uzbekistan. This opinion was expressed by the head of the master’s program "Diplomacy of the Russian Federation and Foreign States" of St. Petersburg State University Stanislav Tkachenko.
“A multifaceted model of state development is being formed in Uzbekistan. On the one hand, this is export-oriented growth. We have seen how the state attracts investment in order to form a national industry and expand ties with neighboring states.
On the other hand, there is an emphasis on the development of the domestic market as another driver of the country’s economy.
“The economy of Uzbekistan is moving from industrial to post-industrial. It is a knowledge-based economy. In addressing these issues, cooperation with the Russian Federation may be attractive for Uzbekistan,” Stanislav Tkachenko said during an international conference organized by ISMI and the Valdai Club.
