Uzbek businesses to visit Netherlands
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Diskus Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the Netherlands and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Brabant Province will organize the visit of the Uzbek businesses to the Netherlands in November.
The visit will take place on 16-20 November and it is planned to hold business forum, bilateral negotiations and visits to the enterprises of the Netherlands.
According to the Uzbek statistics, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the Netherlands made up US$27.3 million in the first half of 2009. Exports of Uzbekistan decreased from US$19.6 million in January-June 2008 to US$4.8 million in January-June 2009.
Imports of Uzbekistan from the Netherlands fell from US$36.1 million in the first half of 2008 to US$22.5 million in the same period of 2009.
