Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January - June 2021, the enterprises of the clothing industry of Uzbekistan produced goods worth 5.5 trillion soums. The index of the physical volume of the network compared to January - June 2020 amounted to 117.3%.
In particular:
The production of jackets, jackets, and down jackets for men (except for knitwear) - increased 52.6 times;
The production of trousers and breeches (except for knitwear) for men increased by 83.7%;
The production of jackets for men (including for skiers), windbreakers, wind jackets and similar products (except for machine or hand knitting) - increased by 67.9%;
Production of work trousers for men, overalls with chest and shoulder straps, breeches and shorts - increased by 14.0%;
The largest share in the total volume of products manufactured in the republic by the enterprises of the clothing industry falls on Andijan region (24.4%), Tashkent region (16.6%), Namangan region (12.1%), Ferghana region and the city of Tashkent (7.7%).
